Speed Up your System Processing By Cleaning System Junk

In Today's world where data is exponentially increasing , with this increase our major concern is system processing and storage.But due to daily heavy updates and caching, our system drives on which Operating System is installed consumes lot of space and fills rapidly.

In concern , we think our system is affected to a bloatware or worms which is not the root cause of  this problem .Though it is good to have regular updates but its our responsibility to make our systems to there optimum state.

In this post we will see how this happens and how we can get out of this minor problem.

How OS drives fills rapidly

Generally in concern with Windows ,Microsoft and other vendors whose services we use on our system send us regular product updates and we install the updates on our system .But we never think that what about previous updated files ,are they removed from our system with new install.The answer to this is No,they are partially deleted, for rest we have to take care at our own.

Second reason is System Caching and a number of system restore points.In our System to protect form unintentional damage and for recovery, system restore points are generated but with passage of time they increase in numbers and acquire the space.So we need to clean the extra restore points regularly.

How does it effect on the Processing of the System

As this all happens in the drive where your Operating System is installed .So when you boot your system i.e Power On, Boot-loader and MBR loads OS from the disk , as this all JUNK is stored with your OS files it also get loaded into memory and acquire a adequate amount of processing power and RAM space.

Steps to Clean this JUNK

STEP 1:

In Windows Search ,Search for Disk Cleanup.

STEP 2:

In Disk Cleanup Window ,Select the drive on which OS is installed and then Press OK.

STEP 3:

Then it will show you the storage amount which you can free up .Check all the files and folders you want to Clean Up.

STEP 4:

For more Junk exploration.Select Clean Up System Files tab > Press Delete/Yes > Select the OS Drive.You will see a notable increase in your Junk from your previous selection.

STEP 5:

To clean this all Click OK and wait for some time ,it may take variable amount of time depending on your Junk size. Upon successful completion the cleanup prompt will disappear and you can confirm this by checking your c drive space in My Computer section which will increase in the amount you cleaned the Junk.
